Tour Overview
Day 1 : Chiang Mai – Tha Ton (Long tail boat trip) – Ruammit Karen Village – Chiang Rai
Start from Chiang Mai to drive to Chiang Rai on the Chiang Mai – Tha Ton northern route. Then visit the multi tiered Thaton temple which affords spectacular views over the jungle towards Burma as well as down the Mae Kok river valley towards Chiang Rai. Then having lunch before taking a longtail boat in Chiang Rai for excursions up river or a Kok River boat trip, we can visit a couple of hill tribe villages (Lahu and Karen) along the banks of The Kok River and the last stop at the Ruam Mit village elephant camp. You also can have an an optional of elephant riding here. After that, we will take you to check in at hotel in Chiang Rai town and in the evening, enjoy your night at Chiang Rai’s Night bazaar for your own shopping you will also be able to try local foods here as well as enjoy traditional thai entertainments.

Day 2 : Golden Triangle – Monkey & Fish Cave – Doi Tung – Phu Chi Fah
Pick up at hotel and visit the Golden triangle. Taking a boat trip along Kong River to see Thailand, Burma & Laos meet at the Golden Triangle, visit Laos Local market at Don Xao Island. Then departure to Wat Tham Pla (Monkey & Fish Cave), Tham Pla meaning Fish Cave is located in Pong Ngam village of Mae Sai in Chiang Rai. There is also a temple close to a small mountain where Monkeys (Makaken) climb over the temple and the surrounding trees and chase each other. This has lead to the cave being called the Fish and Monkey cave. The cave is a lake that ends directly at the mountain or better in it, since the cave goes on under water. In the lake a lot of Koi swim and other fish swim.You can feed the fish and enjoy the surrounding area. At noon, we having lunch at a local restaurant. Next to Doi Tung is very stunning, and weather here is cool all year, so that sometimes it is called “The Switzerland of Thailand” and Mae Fah Luang Garden. Continue to Phu Chi Fah to stay overnight at the guesthouse with the nice view.

Day 3 : Phu Chi Fah – White Temple – Singha Park
Early morning, start from the guesthouse and take a local truck and trek to the top of Phu Chi Fah to see the sunrise; Phu Chi Fah is the highest peak in Thoeng District, 1,628 meters above sea level. It is one of Thailand’s most famous spots to see the stunning view of sunrise! After that we would back to the guesthouse to have a breakfast and check out. Then back to Chiang Rai to visit White temple or Wat Rong Khun where is the famous temple in Chiang Rai. The artist Chalermchai Kositpipat created the mural paintings at the Buddha Prateep Temple in London. After lunch, we visit to Singha Park or Rai Boon Rod, the scenic park in a farm like setting with tea plantations, orchards, trails, a tram & a petting zoo. In late afternoon, we say good bye Chiang Rai and return to Chiang Mai town.
