Tour Overview
Overview : Leave Chiang Mai in the morning and drive due North towards to Chiang Rai around 2.5 hours.
On the way, make a stop at Mae Ka Chan Hot spring for break time. Then, drive more one hour to visit White temple or Wat Rong Khun, The artist Chalermchai Kositpipat alse created the mural paintings at the Buddha Prateep Temple in London. Having a lunch at local restaurant. Afterwards, visit to the famous Chui Fong tea plantation with beautiful scenic and refreshment with a tea drink. Move on to The Blue Temple or Wat Rong Suea Ten where is another stunning temple unlike any other in the country. The temple’s artwork is similar and just as fantastic as what can be found at the White Temple. But at this one, it is not only free to enter, but you can also take pictures inside the ordination hall.
Check out the stunning blue interior! After that, drive back to Chiang Mai and transfer to hotel in town in the late evening around 19.30 – 20.00 p.m.
