Sao Din Na Noi ‘Be stunned by the high stone valleys!’
To see a nice natural scenery, you don’t need to travel all the way to some place far or expensive. Instead, within a middle-sized country like Thailand, there are many beautiful spots that you can enjoy leisure sightseeing.
At Sao Din Na Noi, Nan Province, Thailand, it’s where you can have fun.
Sao Din Na Noi is in Si Nan National Park. This place is super amazing. It’s like you’re in some kind of western movie. The word ‘sao’ means ‘pole’. The word ‘din’ means ‘dirt’. You’re right. This whole place is surrounded with dirt poles and cliffs, which are high. It looks quite like Phae Muang Pee Forest Park in Phrae and the Yellowstone National Park in the movie ‘2012’.
Geologists presume that earth and stone falling on top of each other when the earth’s crust moves caused Sao Din Na Noi and other similar structures. When crusts move, it causes the land above to collapse or breakdown giving birth to weird looking structures. Wind, rain, and other natural forces, help shaped these structures into spheres, cones, pillars, etc. over millions of years. Some structures are massive walls of earth scattered everywhere.
It’s possible that all dirt poles are over 10,000 years old. All dirt poles caused by raing and water eroding. Not only that, some ancient weapons like axes have also been found. That means, humans inhabited here before.
This place is good for whoever love leisure activities. You can get your family or your love one to go with you. Enjoy some time together. The location is perfect for taking photos. There are cliffs and green trees all over it. There are wooden stairways for walking up to the top of the cliffs, which are perfect for sightseeing.
