Tour Overview

DAY 1:

Start from Chiang Mai hotel to depart on the north route 108. During the winding road, the first stop is Huay Nam Dang National Park covers on area of 1,252.12 square kilo meters in Amphoe Mae Taeng and Wiang Haeng of Chiang Mai and in Pai of Mae Hong Son. The National park is a scenic splendor located amidst the rugged high mountains of the Thai-Burmese border where features scenic mountain viewpoints. Then we heading to Pai to visit the World War II Memorial Bridge was a historical construction built since the world war II period. From here you can take a picture with the beautiful view of Pai river. After lunch, we would take an easy hike to Pai Canyon or Kong Lan as it is known in Thai that you will see scenic canyon with narrow, ledgy hiking trails that offer sweeping valley views. Continue with Wat Phra That Mae Yen , the temple with a monumental staircase climbing to a huge white Buddha statue & views over Pai to see the sunset. In the night time, we enjoy, free and easy at Pai Walking Street.

DAY 2: 

After breakfast and check out, we depart to Santichon Chinese Village and Yun Lai View Point to see the scenic view of Pai. Then we continue to Sai Ngam Hotspring where we can have a bath and relax in the warm mineral pond. Sop for lunch at noon and heading to Lod Cave or Tham Lod where is a natural limestone cave system, its main feature is the freshwater stream which runs through the middle of the cave for about 200-300 meters. Inside it’s walls are covered with massive formations and columns over 20 meters high. The cave is also home to large numbers of bats and swifts. We would have a bamboo rafts inside the cave as well. After that, we continue to Pang Ung or “Pangtong2” is one of the Royal Initiative projects by HM Queen Sirikit for highland development. A large reservoir in Pang Ung is popular and attracts more and more visitors to come every year. Its lake view, pine leaves, beautiful mountain scenes, and hazy fog in the morning are a perfect combination for visitors who love to touch by natures. And we would have a dinner and stay overnight at a little home stay with very simple hill tribe style.

DAY 3:

After breakfast and check out, we depart to Phu Klon Spa, Phu Klon means a mud source and natural mineral spring which is between 60-140 C. Rising together with the mineral water boiling black mud is clean, free from sulfur smell and full of healthy mineral. We can have a mud therapy here. After that, we drive to Mae Hong Son town to visit Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu affords a spectacular view of the entire valley in which Mae Hong Son is nestled. The temple itself is notable for its two large white chedis and its typical Shan architecture. Then we have a lunch in town. After lunch we would take Take long tail boat riding along a scenic route with marvelous cataracts on the Pai River to Baan Nam Phiang Din or Huay Pu Kang Long Neck Village. Here you will find long-neck and long-ear girls. Handicrafts made by them are available. Then, back to Maehongson town to visit Wat Chong Kham and Wat Chong Klang, a symbol of Mae Hong Son with the twin Burmese-style temples. Then, we have a dinner at local restaurant and stay overnight in Mae Hong Son.

DAY 4:
After breakfast and check out, we take a long drive on the road to Khun Yuam to visit Kaew Komol Cave where is one of the most beautiful in Thailand with crystal calcite in the cavern. After lunch, visit to Ob Luang National Park offers a chance to discover the natural beauty of amazing landscape shaped by curvy river and limestone mountain ranges. The river stream runs through the canyon is the most remembered scene of OB Luang, of which at the middle of the man-made bridge connecting both banks is the best place to get the most out of it. Then heading back to Chiang Mai town and end this trip.
