Hariphunchai National Museum ‘Have fun and get knowledge at the same time.’
Hariphunchai National Museum “visit a museum of history is not a boring stuff at all.”
If you just open your heart, it will be fun as much as other tourist attractions. You can have fun and get knowledge at the same time. Won’t that be nice? You should give yourself some time and visit some, along with people you love, especially your children.
People of new age, including you, may not be much interested in history. But if there is a good learning source, beside of boring same texts in books, where you can see things in the past for yourself, you may not feel the same way anymore. On the contrary, you may love history for the rest of your life.
Then, will you want to get to know a place like ‘Hariphunchai National Museum’? Yes. This is a good museum for you to learn history. Let’s see a little information of it.
The Hariphunchai National Museum presents you the history of Lamphun, with over 3,000 pieces of ancient items! These items are gathered from various places, including temples, and divided into 4 different periods: pre-historic, Dvaravati-Hariphunchai, Lanna, and Lanna restoration.
These items are mostly utensils, carvings, amulets, or even stone tablets. You have to walk around. Some items are inside glass cases, for their own protection. Anyway, try not to touch anything, not even items or the glass cases. These things are valuable and old. Touching them may cause a big damage.
