Tour Overview
Day 1 :Â The journey begins with a 7:30 AM pick-up from your Chiang Mai hotel, setting off for a culturally rich exploration. Our first destination is Lamphun, where we’ll marvel at the stunning Wat Phra That Haripoonchai Lamphun, a temple steeped in history and spiritual significance. Next, we journey to Lampang to visit the revered Wat Lampang Luang, a site of great architectural and religious importance.
Post-lunch, we embark on a historical adventure at Sri Sanchanalai Historical Park, an ancient city offering a glimpse into Thailand’s glorious past. Here, we’ll explore the architectural marvels of Chaow Jan Temple, Chang Lom Temple, Chedi Chet Thaeo Temple, and Nang Phaya Temple. Our day concludes with a drive to Sukhothai, where you’ll spend a relaxing night at a local hotel, soaking in the day’s experiences.

Day 2 :Â The second day starts with an 8:00 AM hotel pick-up in Sukhothai. We begin by delving into the heart of Thai history at the Sukhothai Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This park houses the King Ramkhamhaeng Monument, and several significant temples such as Wat Sri Sawai, Wat Tra Phang Ngoen, Wat Sa Sri, Ta Pha Daeng Shrine, Wat Si Chum, Wat Sorasak, and Wat Phra Phai Luang.
Lunch will be a delightful affair after which we drive to Phitsanulok. Here, we visit Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat, known for its stunning Buddha statue. We also explore the Buddha statue Foundry, offering a unique insight into Thai religious art (note: closed on Monday, Tuesday, and public holidays). The day wraps up with a comfortable drive back to your Chiang Mai hotel, culminating in a journey filled with historical wonders and spiritual insights.
