Pha Suea Waterfall ‘Keep calm and receive cool water drizzle.’

Pha Suea waterfall is at a medium size, but it is definitely a nice place. You will calm down and be impacted by cool water drizzle. It is about 10 metres high and 15 metres wide, with about 6 levels. It mostly consists of granite.

The most beautiful season for Pha Suea Waterfall is rainy season, as the water, which originates from Mae Sa Nga Waterfall in Myanmar, will be all over the cliff like a mat, the word which here means ‘suea’ in Thai language. Now that is the origin of the name.

Although the place doesn’t allow tourists to play in the water below, due to the harsh current, but you can still relax yourself by having a sightseeing, taking a look around the national park area, having a nice walk in the mixed forest, taking a lot of photos with your friends, admiring those plants and wild animals.

How to get there

Pha Sue Waterfall is located in Tham Pla Cave-Pha Suea Waterfall National Park, in Mhok Cham Pae District, Muang County, Mae Hong Son Province.

Start your engine in the heart of Mae Hong Son. Just try to go along the same route as Pang Ung. Head for Pai County. After the 10 kilometres, turn left. Keep driving all the way up and you will find the waterfall in no time. It is located just before Pang Tong Palace.
