Discover Huay Kaew Waterfall in Chiang Mai! Perfect for day trips, this natural retreat is full of scenic charm.

Nestled at the foothills of Doi Suthep, Huay Kaew Waterfall feels like a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. Only 6 kilometers from Chiang Mai city center, this tranquil retreat offers a refreshing escape from the urban bustle. The sound of cascading water greets you long before you see the 10-meter-high waterfall. Surrounded by verdant foliage and vibrant flowers, the waterfall’s beauty seems almost magical. It’s a place where nature speaks, inviting you to pause, breathe, and soak in the serenity.

A Legacy of Love and Adventure

Beyond the waterfall’s natural charm lies Wang Bua Ban, or the Pool of Blossoms, an iconic site with a tale as old as time. Legend has it that a young woman named Bua Ban leapt to her death from the cliffs above, transforming this serene pool into a symbol of eternal love and heartbreak. Adding to the mystique is Pa Ngueb, a rocky overhang near the waterfall that draws climbers and adventurers. The rugged terrain and towering granite rocks make it a playground for those seeking an adrenaline rush or simply a unique photo spot.
