Tour Overview

Day 1 : 8 km.

Pick up at hotel or guesthouse in Chiang Mai town 08.00 a.m. and heading to Mae Wang district to have a wonderful adventure experience with a hiking trails in the beautiful nature wildlife in the south part of Chiang Mai. To touch and feel the impressive atmosphere with the trekking programs that will bring everyone as close to nature as possible.

Starting to trek from the village to the elephant home to feeding the elephant. Then, take a walk through the protected forest area. During the day, you will find the beautiful natural scenery of the untouched nature. Traverses walking along the hills through the karen hilltribe village and waterfall. You can enjoy swimming at the waterfall to relax. Continue to visit the rice terraces field and walk into the accommodation and having dinner by the tour guide. The food be prepared from natural ingredients, fresh vegetables, free of chemicals, served with specially selected village rice dishes for you to taste.

Day 2 : 7 km.

After breakfast, we leave the accommodation around 9.00 a.m.

Today’s distance is totally 7 km. to continue your journey on a natural trail through the real rain forest. On the way, having a break for lunch by preparing and cooking a forest lifestyle. After that, to walk to the waterfall. It’s time to relax, have fun and refreshing the body in the waterfall with nature after long trek. And then continue walking to a beautiful viewpoint that would be the end of trail.

Then, we have an experience with the friendliness and cuteness of Thai elephants by enjoy the activity of the elephant bath that makes the elephant feels relax and happy. After that, we take a ride to the rafting point. We will take you on an adventure on the river with bamboo rafting to be fun, exciting and challenging along the Mae Wang steam that be created an unforgettable experience for you.

After that, we drive back to Chiang Mai town and transfer to hotel around 17.00 – 17.30 p.m.

This trekking tour was organized by the volunteer groups, the communities of Mae Sapok village and Mae Mud village of Mae Win District in Chiang Mai Province.  All of expenses and income from the tours are distributed to the community and all villagers.
