Meet the happy elephants and learn about their individual stories as you touch, feed, and interact with them. Walk with them to a nearby river, where they’ll wade and play in the water, and even join them for a swim. Observe them getting a healthy cosmetic mud treatment and capture your memories with final photos. Enjoy a delicious seasonal fruit snack before returning to Chiang Mai, refreshed and with a new appreciation for these amazing creatures.

Itinerary

06.30 – 07.00 AM: Pick up from your hotel or accommodation
07.30 AM: Take a scenic drive for approximately 50 minutes north of Chiang Mai through forests and local farming areas
08.30 AM: Arrive at Kanta Elephant Sanctuary, learn about the elephants and change into traditional clothing
09.00 AM: Meet the elephants, feed, interact and play with them in a natural environment. Get muddy as you learn about their behavior and history and capture memories with photos.
10.00 AM: Observe the elephants as they bathe in a nearby river, with the option to join them.
11.00 AM: Enjoy some tea, coffee, and seasonal fruit before saying goodbye to the elephants. Drive back to Chiang Mai for approximately 50 minutes, ending with a drop-off at your hotel or accommodation.

Note: Our priority is providing visitors with as much time as possible with the elephants. Thus, aside from pickup times, the schedule is flexible and subject to change.
