Tour Overview

Overview : Picking up at Chiang Mai hotel or guesthouse in town at 08.00 a.m. and heading to the north and reaching to Mae Rim Elephant Home in Mae Rim district. After Changing to Karen Mahout Clothing, we would get an information about the behavior to care, to love and understand life style of Thai elephants and learning the basic word to say with elephant. After that, we would walk exercise together with the elephants and learning about how to make herbs for elephants. Continue to enjoy feeding and take photo with elephants. Let’s having fun for a fantastic Mud bathing with them and enjoy bathing and brush with elephant on Maerim River. After changing to clean clothes, enjoy Thai fruit and Thai style snack before we leave to have a lunch at the local restaurant.

After lunch, we continue to drive to Phrao district to visit the famous beautiful waterfall where is Bua Tong Waterfalls or Sticky Waterfalls as the traveler known in this name. Because this waterfall made of limestone and mineral deposits, the limestone creates enough friction to stop slipping, so making it very easy to climb up the waterfall (with the help of ropes). It is slightly rough but it isn’t painful to step on, and forms an interesting bubbly pattern. There are 5 different levels to experience and steps on the side of the waterfall leading all the way to the bottom. Most people walk to the bottom and then climb up the waterfall to the top. On a hot and humid day the water is cool and refreshing.
