Entrance here costs 300 THB, and the top pool reaches a steamy 80 °C — hot enough to boil an egg — with a series of lower pools offering progressively cooler temperatures.

In contrast, Sai Ngam Hot Spring, often referred to as the "Secret Crystal Hot Spring," is a hidden sanctuary about 15 kilometers north of Pai in Mae Hong Son. Surrounded by dense forest, Sai Ngam offers a more natural, tranquil experience with crystal-clear water flowing through stone basins at a perfect 34 °C. It's ideal for travelers who prefer peaceful soaking in unspoiled settings, far from tourist crowds.

After approximately 11 km, watch for a blue sign indicating Sai Ngam Hot Spring; turn and continue for 4 km to reach the forestry booth, where a small entry fee (around 20 THB) is collected. The road has steep hills and elevation changes—quite navigable, but caution is advised, especially for beginner motorbike riders. A 150cc+ bike or solid vehicle is recommended. The site opens daily from 08:00 to 18:00, and payments are in cash—digital payments are not accepted.
