Hello,

Thank you for your message. At the moment, registration for hiking Doi Luang Chiang Dao is already closed, and the sanctuary office cannot accept any additional visitors.

However, we do have a similar option: a trekking program in a protected national park area. Please note that this trip does not include reaching the main summit, and it is a day trek only (no overnight stay). You can see the details here:

Pensez vous qu'il soit encore possible de le faire et de s'inscrire directement au bureau du sanctuaire étant donné que les inscriptions en ligne sont fermées ? Avez vous des recommandations? Doi Luang Chiang Dao is now open for reservations via the website https://wildlifesanctuaryfca16.com/chiangdao.

Hello, I see the comment from 2024 but was wondering if anything has changed in terms of booking availability? I visited the Wildlife Santuary website today (registration opened yesterday), and it is already closed. Wondering if tour guides are now able to buy the registrations for guests to book through them and use? Thanks in advance

Subject: Trekking Chiang Dao

Good day, we are a group of 4 friends looking to hike Chiang Dao Summit.

We heard that we had to purchase registration with Wildlife Sanctuary to trek the mountain. Is this accurate or included if we book the trek with a guide with you?

We would we looking to start the trek on the 23rd as we need to be in Pai on the 25th .

Would it be possible to have more information and then book with you?

We used to manage the trekking to Doi Luang Chiang Dao Hill Top in the past, sir.

But after the Chiang Dao Wildlife Sanctuary manage a new rule for doing the trekking reservation through them directly only which is not allow for the tour company. Hence, we have to cancel the trip.
We are really sorry for this inconvenient cause. 🙏

The trekking trip is 2 days 1 night be managed by the Chiang Dao Wildlife Sanctuary and they will open the booking in October (Around 5 days) in each year and booking through their website only on the link below.
