Hello,

Thank you for your message. At the moment, registration for hiking Doi Luang Chiang Dao is already closed, and the sanctuary office cannot accept any additional visitors.

However, we do have a similar option: a trekking program in a protected national park area. Please note that this trip does not include reaching the main summit, and it is a day trek only (no overnight stay). You can see the details here:

Pensez vous qu'il soit encore possible de le faire et de s'inscrire directement au bureau du sanctuaire étant donné que les inscriptions en ligne sont fermées ? Avez vous des recommandations? Thanks for the article, I haven’t been to this hill tribe village yet, hopefully I will do it this 2026. I have been to many Long karen villages during my time in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai.

We went to the original tiger kindom in Chiang Mai, we have also been to the one in Phuket. The original is the experience we have ever had and are wanting to go back again in March this year. I let my partner choose going to see the tigers and dont regret . it. We were in Bangkok at the time and just booked a flight to go there. I couldn’t recommend this so highly. The enclosures are big and very clean and the tigers so cute and lovable, when I showed photos if work the first comment was your there inside the cage. LOL

I think the gained my greatest respect with the young ones. Had the jump and crawl over me just like a house cat. Later on they were feeding them and offered to pay to hold the bottle of milk and wasn’t allowed to. They really do look after these magestic animals. We have a similar photo on this site of the tigers jumping in the pool.
